The fireplace puts out alot of heat because our furnace is in the attic when our house was built 20yrs ago and by the time the heat gets downstairs we are cold. We will see how this works this winter. But we are so happy cannot wait for winter. Upstairs we close the vents because the heat from attic hits our room upstairs and it is so hot. Now we will see. Thanks to the Handy assembly option, my experience with ordering a wider TV console table went really well. I thought that the color I ordered would have been deeper, but this is acceptable. The fireplace space heater and light each have a toggle switch so they can work separately or together.
